Reid’s teaching style is flexible and tailored to the student’s needs. In the studio, Reid focuses on developing practice techniques that promote self-sufficient and focused music learning. Reid, now a junior at Pacific Lutheran University, studies under Dr. Ezhokina, the Chair of Piano Studies.

Reid’s childhood was primarily based in Tacoma where he faithfully studied with his teacher, Paul Twedt, for 11 years. At age 12, Reid was a district representative for the WSMTA (Washington State Music Teachers Association) convention. By age 15, Reid Placed second in the Outstanding Artist Competition. Upon entry to Pacific Lutheran University, Reid was awarded the most prestigious music scholarship and designated as, “A Mary Baker Russel Scholar.”

Reid now continues to share his music within the community, most notably at Welcome Table Christian Church where he holds dual roles as pianist and director. Reid is passionate about music, and hopes to share this passion with each and every student.
