Originally from Aberdeen Washington, Haley Fleming attended Central Washington University, receiving her Music Bachelor of Arts specializing in Classical Voice. During her time at CWU, Haley was a part of both Vocal Jazz Choirs, Camisada (A capella group), Chamber Choir, Vox Divina, Opera Productions, and has received private classical training. CWU gave Haley many opportunities to perform different styles of music, creating comfort in performing in many styles. Some notable performances are performing at Benaroya Hall with CWU choirs and giving a 30 minute solo Voice Recital.
Haley focuses on creating healthy vocal technique for her students. Students will gain a classical vocal foundation using breathing and posture to produce a full, healthy sound. Haley believes that a healthy body is the key to developing the voice to its full potential. As the student is developing their instrument; color, interpretation, and exploration of other musical styles are highly encouraged.
