Mele is an accomplished teacher as well; she currently maintains a voice studio and has served as a guest vocal technique clinician for high school choral programs in Washington and Arizona. Having 14 years of experience teaching voice lessons to all ages- children, teens, young adults, and adults- she personalizes lesson plans to cater to the needs, interests, and learning styles of each voice student.
Her teaching philosophy is that anyone – truly anyone – can learn to sing and/or improve upon their current skills, and also that singing should be healthy, comfortable, fun, and enjoyable! She is a classically trained opera singer, but also enjoys singing musical theater, jazz, and other modern genres, and teaches beautiful singing for any style of music. She loves to share the joy of creating beautiful music with the most majestic instrument on the planet – the human voice!
